ErgoVue Span Dual Monitor Arm — Gas Spring, Up to 27"

Two monitors on their factory stands sit wherever those stands decided, which is almost always too low. You spend the day looking slightly down at both, your neck takes the weight, and the only adjustment available is a stack of books.

The Span takes both screens off the desk and puts them where your eyes actually are.

The arms are gas-spring counterbalanced, which is the difference between an arm you use and one you give up on. Cheaper friction arms have to be loosened, shoved and retightened every time; a gas spring holds the weight itself, so the screen stays exactly where you leave it and moves with one hand when you want it somewhere else. You end up adjusting it through the day — leaning back after lunch, pulling it closer for detailed work — rather than setting it once and enduring it.

Each arm tilts 90° up and 70° down, swivels through 180° and rotates a full 360°, independently of the other. You can angle both inward into a shallow arc instead of sitting square to one and craning at the second, and either screen can go portrait — worth doing if you read long documents or code.

The desk underneath comes back, too. Two stands occupy a surprising amount of the surface you actually work on. The Span clamps at the back edge and leaves all of it clear, extending up to 53 cm when you want a screen closer and tucking back when you don't.

Before you order: this fits screens up to 27 inches, at up to 10 kg per arm. If either of yours is larger or heavier, it is not the right arm — and we would rather tell you now than process a return later.
