The Apex lifts the screen to eye level and keeps the machine cool while it is up there. The deck is cut from anodised aluminium with a row of ventilation slots running through it, so heat escapes from the underside instead of building against a closed surface. Height and angle both adjust through the articulated arm, so you set the position that suits your chair and your height rather than the one the stand decided on.
