About ErgoVue

Why ErgoVue

Working from home quietly wrecks your body, and almost nothing sold to fix it is worth owning.

The market splits in two. At one end, office furniture designed for an office — grey, oversized, and visibly wrong in a spare room or the corner of a living room. At the other, cheap foam accessories that flatten inside a month.

Very little sits between them: things that genuinely support how you sit, and that you are happy to look at every day. That gap is what we stock for.

How we choose what to sell

Every product clears three tests before it reaches the store. Most things we look at fail at least one.

1

It changes how your body sits

Not marginally, and not in theory. A screen at eye level, feet flat on the floor, wrists level with the keys. If a product does not move one of those three things, we do not stock it.

2

It survives daily use

Memory foam that holds its density. Aluminium that does not flex. Edges that do not fray. The cheapest version of everything here exists, and we have chosen not to sell it.

3

It suits a home

Your desk probably shares a room with the rest of your life. Something that looks like IT department surplus is a thing you resent, and a thing you resent is a thing you stop using.

ErgoVue is new, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

We opened with a handful of products rather than a catalogue of hundreds, because each one had to earn its place against those three tests — and most of what we looked at did not. The range will grow, but slowly, and only when something genuinely clears the bar.

What we can promise today is that nothing here is filler.

The three changes worth making first

If you do nothing else, do these. None of them requires buying anything — they are simply easier to hold once your setup supports them.

  1. 1
Get your screen to eye level

The top of the display roughly level with your eyes, about an arm's length away. This is the change people feel fastest, usually within a few days.

  2. 2
Get your feet flat, knees near 90°

Lower the chair, or add a footrest if your feet do not reach. Dangling feet put the load into your lower back.

  3. 3
    Get your wrists straight

Keyboard at elbow height, so your hands run level from forearm to fingertip rather than bending upward over the edge.

Start where it matters

Our setup guide walks through all four adjustments in the order worth making them, because each one changes the next. It takes about twenty minutes and costs nothing to try.
